Wągrowiec is a small town in Wielkopolskie State, Poland, about 60km north of Poznań.
One of the most remarkable features of Wągrowiec is its town square with the beautiful tenement houses modernised in 2009. The unique atmosphere is created particularly by a “dancing” fountain with luminous effects accompanied by famous melodies. The shows take place in summer and in winter the fountain is transformed into a colourful decorative dome. Another interesting thing worth seeing is an outstanding sundial.
In the centre of Wągrowiec you can also visit little cafes and take part in numerous art events. Despite the fact that the ground is covered with cobblestone, there is no shortage of greenery and colourful accents – the Flower Towers have revived this space.
The municipal authorities of Wagrowiec bought Terra Flower Towers in order to make the town more beautiful.
Problem
The size of the modernised town square was impressive but such wide surface without some greenery seemed to be overwhelming. The monotony in the centre was problematic due to cobblestone and no access for plants to the ground. The “dancing” fountain also needed some distinctive decorations and thanks to the flowers it could become a truly interesting element. Greyness and monotony of the town square and streets in Wągrowiec weren’t favourable for wellbeing and didn't encourage people to visit the town.
Solution
An interesting application of decorations is worth the attention. The smaller models cut the streets off from the pavements in a safe way and completed the park arrangement. For more varied composition, the whole was enriched by H2400 models with the colourful flowers. The town hall gate became much more attractive and now it encourages to visit.
